Video Premiere: Head To Electric Pow Wow With A Tribe Called Red in “Sisters”, Directed by Jon Riera!

After recently winning a Juno for Breakthrough Group of the Year, this First Nations DJ collective has now released their first major video for “Sisters”, featuring Northern Voice. The group seemlessly blends hip hop, reggae and dubstep sonics with tradtional First Nations riffs and tunes to create the newest and most innovative dance music to come about in years. What makes this band so unique is their First Nations influences in their music through vocal chants and drums.

Filmed on location from Toronto to Montreal (and everywhere in between), the video shows three sisters heading out on the road to the Electric Pow Wow, where they rock out to A Tribe Called Red’s energetic and heart pumping music.

This track was released on their album Nation II Nation, released in 2013.
